In article process of placing of Russian peasants-immigrants in a southern part of Primorskaya oblast in second half XIX century is analyzed, chronological and spatial components of this process are considered. The basic object of research – intensity of occurrence of country settlements and an order of their distribution on oblast territory. Two periods of moving consisted of four stages are revealed, characteristics of process of territory settling in different parts of oblast are described.

The problems of origin and evolution of the Far-East region’s traditional system of heating – kang and ondol’ are raised in this article. Kang originated among such cultures as crownovskaya, thesonri (Korea), upper xiachiadan (Manchuria) and spread in Transbaikalia at one of the earliest periods of its existence. In Korea kang had been existing till last Cogure. At the middle of Core period kang transformed into ondol’. Far-East people formed the certain type of house-building with the traditional heating system – kang and ondol’– in ancient times and because of its rationality it has kept till nowadays.
